You're capable, high-functioning, and exhausted in a way that doesn't make sense on paper.
Clinical naturopathy for the woman who holds it all together, but feels anything but.
Your results come back normal. You're doing all the "right things." And yet you're tired, wired, hormonally all over the place, and running on empty.

This is not a willpower problem. It is a physiological problem.
I'm Tara a clinical naturopath, based in Busselton and Dunsborough, and also working with women across Australia online. I help busy, high-capacity women find the real drivers behind their symptoms, and build a body that can actually keep up with the life they're leading.

The Naturopath Who Gets It, Because She Lives It Too.
I'm a clinical naturopath with a Bachelor of Health Science, an ANTA member, and a genuine obsession with how the brain and body talk to each other.
My clinical focus sits at the intersection of brain health, hormonal physiology, gut function and metabolic health. I work with women who are trying to do it all, are self-aware, and completely over being told their results are fine when they clearly are not.
My approach is evidence-informed, deeply personalised, and grounded in the belief that symptoms are signals — not inconveniences to be managed.
I'm also a single mum of three, running a busy practice across Busselton, Dunsborough and online. I understand what it means to carry a lot and still need to function at your best.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect in an initial consultation? Your initial consultation is a comprehensive 70 to 90 minute deep dive into your health story. We explore your current symptoms, medical history, stress levels, sleep patterns, gut function, hormones, energy, mood and lifestyle. I look at how all of these systems are interacting rather than isolating one symptom. You will leave with a clear, structured plan that focuses on a few key priorities rather than overwhelming you with 20 changes at once. My goal is clarity, not confusion.
Do you offer online consultations? Yes. I offer online consultations Australia-wide, as well as in-person appointments in Dunsborough on Mondays. Online consults are just as thorough and effective as in-person sessions and allow you to access support from the comfort of your own home.
Do I need blood tests before seeing you? Not at all. We can begin with your current symptoms and health history. If you do have recent blood tests, I am very happy to review them. I interpret pathology through an optimal health lens rather than simply looking at whether results sit within standard reference ranges.
Can you work alongside my GP or specialist? Absolutely. I strongly believe in collaborative care. Many of my patients are under the care of GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists or specialists. My role is to support the foundations such as nutrition, nervous system regulation, gut health and lifestyle while respecting your existing medical plan.
What conditions do you commonly support? I have a strong focus on brain and nervous system health. This includes stress, anxiety, burnout, sleep disturbances, ADHD, mood changes, brain fog and fatigue. I also regularly support patients with hormonal imbalances, perimenopause, menstrual concerns, gut dysfunction, recurrent infections and inflammatory conditions. My approach always centres around identifying and addressing the key drivers rather than simply managing symptoms.
Do you work with people on medications? Yes. Many of my patients are on medications. My role is not to replace your prescribed treatment but to support your body holistically alongside it. Any changes to medications must always be made in consultation with your prescribing doctor.
Is your clinic LGBTQIA+ inclusive? Yes. My practice is an inclusive, affirming and safe space for people of all sexualities and gender identities. Everyone deserves to feel seen, respected and supported in their healthcare.
How much do consultations cost? Consultation fees are listed clearly on my services page. All appointments are structured to allow adequate time for meaningful care rather than rushed sessions.
Are supplements or herbals included in the consultation fee? Supplements and herbals are not included in the consultation fee and are only prescribed when clinically indicated. I am mindful not to overload you with unnecessary products. My priority is always food first and foundational lifestyle strategies.
How long does it take to see results? This depends on the complexity and duration of your symptoms. Some patients notice improvements in energy, digestion or sleep within a few weeks. Deeper hormonal, gut or nervous system shifts can take several months. Sustainable health takes time and consistency, and I will guide you through that process step by step.I feel overwhelmed already.
Will this be too much? This is such a common concern. My approach is intentionally focused and realistic. We prioritise two to three key changes at a time so you can build momentum without burnout. This is not about perfection or extreme routines. It is about practical, sustainable shifts that support your nervous system rather than stress it further.I’ve tried everything before.
How is this different? Many people come to me feeling frustrated after trying multiple approaches. What makes this different is that we look at the whole picture. Rather than chasing isolated symptoms, we assess patterns across the nervous system, hormones, gut, inflammation, sleep and lifestyle. When we identify the true drivers, the plan becomes far more targeted and effective.
How is stress affecting my health? Chronic stress impacts far more than just your mood. It can alter cortisol rhythms, disrupt sleep, impair digestion, affect blood sugar regulation, influence hormone production and increase inflammation. Supporting the nervous system is often the foundation for improving gut health, hormonal balance and energy.
Why does gut health affect mood and anxiety? The gut and brain are deeply connected through what is known as the gut brain axis. Changes in gut bacteria, inflammation or digestive function can influence neurotransmitter production and stress responses. When we support gut integrity and microbial balance, we often see improvements in mood clarity, anxiety levels and overall resilience.
